4BBB Mixed Pairs Bank Holiday Competition – Monday 27th May 2024

A traditional Male and Female pairings fun event played on the New Course for all members

Men: White Tees / Women: Red Tees.

Important Note: Whilst entry to this competition is open to those within the handicap limits above, only players who have played a minimum of TEN qualifiers (may be Q Competition or General Play cards) within the last 12 months will be eligible to win prize monies. If one person on team is ineligible then the whole team is ineligible to win prize monies.

From April 1st 2024 Four Ball Better Ball Scores within GB&I have been added to the list of mandatory scores to be returned for handicapping purposes. However, this will only apply to an individual when a team scores of 42 points or more, the individual player scores  at least 9 times and has scored 36 or more points. Holes where a player did not score will be allocated points relative to the recorded team score. IG calculates and forwards all acceptable scores to EG. For the majority of the players in the competition it will remain a non qualifying competition and no scores will be updated to the individuals WHS handicap record. 

Rules for submitting score cards and verification.

1. All scores must be electronically entered using your IG App or the Touchscreen at reception.
2. A Score Card MUST have both the players names on it.
3. A Score Card MUST be signed by one of the Players and the Marker.
4. One of the team pair is responsible for posting their team’s correctly completed legible score card.

NO CARD, NAMES OR SIGNATURES WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.

Entry fee is £3.00 person.

Please ensure you have sufficient monies on your Levy Account when entering this competition

As this is a 4 ball better ball competition, a 85% Handicap Allowance will be applied

Any Ties will be decided on Count-back.

Prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed teams in two divisions if sufficient numbers (divisions will be decided once entry has closed in order to make divisions equal)

All prize monies aimed to be paid at the start of the following month.

Competition Entry is available to those with a MAX Handicap Index of 54 for both men & women.

Entry is from Monday 13th April (18:30pm) to Friday 24th April (12:00 mid-day).

Please enter against a tee time when you can also enter your team players at the same time.

The tee sheet will be drawn by 12:00 mid-day on the Saturday when you will receive an email confirmation of your tee time. 

Sign in on the Day and enter your Score using the IG APP.
