Essendon Country Club
Each year, our club commits to supporting two dedicated charities that are voted for by our membership and staff. Throughout the year, we will host events and competitions that raise money in support of each of them.

Herts & Essex Air Ambulance
Herts & Essex Air Ambulance is a life-saving charity that provides advanced pre-hospital emergency medical care across Hertfordshire and Essex. Its highly skilled doctors and paramedics respond rapidly to critical incidents by helicopter or rapid response vehicle, delivering vital treatment at the scene before transferring patients to the most appropriate hospital. The service relies heavily on charitable donations and community support to keep flying and saving lives.
Isabel Hospice
Isabel Hospice provides free, compassionate care and support for people living with life-limiting conditions and their families across eastern Hertfordshire. Their specialist team offers hospice care, community support, and bereavement services, helping patients live with dignity and comfort while ensuring families receive the guidance they need.
Previous Charities
24/25 - In the 24/25 season, our club proudly raised £4,457.90 for Rennie Grove, £4,457.90 for Dogs Trust, and £2,757.90 for Isabel Hospice - an incredible effort by everyone involved.
